Michael Hatton
Founder / Director
Dip. Surveying
Michael’s TSS journey began when he temporarily stepped away from surveying into a civil foreman role. He recognised the critical need for surveyors to play a more active role in supporting clients and surpassing their expectations. Initially serving his former colleagues in civil projects but quickly expanding to encompass building and construction surveys.
Michael is a Bunuba (Bedford Family) and Wiradjuri (Eldridge Family) descendant.
Gary Dorn

Gary is a highly versatile surveyor with over 15 years experience in construction. Quick to grasp new technologies, Gary ensures the team remains at the forefront of technological change in surveying software and equipment. Gary is predominantly involved with civil engineering and infrastructure projects.
Chris Donovan
Commercial Manager

Chris is an experienced manager and surveyor with over 20 years experience in civil infrastructure, building construction and land development projects. He manages all phases of a project from commencement to completion and draws from his wealth of knowledge of surveying technology and people management to ensure each project is completed on time.
Louise Dobson

As a former practicing surveyor, Louise provides operational support and advice to our teams to ensure they can focus on their projects and clients. Louise has been a key driver of our culture of inclusiveness and collegiality. Her mentoring of trainees and graduates enables us to recruit and retain talented individuals within our industry.
James Doyle
Construction Manager

Jimmy brings over 15 years’ experience in the construction industry, specialising in large-scale infrastructure projects, high-rise construction and site establishments. Throughout his tenure at TSS, he has played a key role in training our staff and refining survey QA procedures – essential to the successful delivery of all TSS construction projects role.
William (Bill) Hamer

With over 20 years’ experience in the industry, Bill has a broad range of expertise in high-rise construction, subdivisions, town planning, engineering, and land development. Bill is a Member of BOSSI Assessors Panel for Strata Community Title and Town Planning exams and a consultative member of Spatial Services Digital Survey Plans.
Sean Young
ACT Survey Manager
B. Surveying
Since completing his degree at the University of Otago, NZ in 2016, Sean has been working on a wide range of projects from small warehouse and school jobs to large-scale high-rise and metro projects. Expertise includes all aspects of construction, civil and detail surveying, Sean now leads the team at our Canberra office.
Liam Dare
Victoria Team Lead
Assoc. Degree Spatial Science
Liam brings a decade of experience, having established a strong foundation in cadastral surveying and then moving into large infrastructure projects. He has played a key role in delivering major civil, transport, and utilities projects across Victoria. Liam is now managing the Victorian team delivering the initial stages of the Suburban Rail Loop, a significant infrastructure project.
